NBA PLAYOFFS:
A- IS LEBRON DONE AS A LKER? ( I DOUBT IT) - THEY ARE WORSE OFF THAN WARRIORS
-LEBRON WON A BUBBLE TITLE, MADE IT TO WEST FINALS LAST SEASON — NOTHNG ELSE …..
-OL;D GUARD (CURRY, DURANT, LEBRON DONE)
Asked how he would approach his decision about Year 22, James replied, "I don't have an answer ... to be honest. I haven't given it much thought."
He said he would eventually sit down with his agent, Rich Paul, and family to evaluate "what's best for my career."
We'll cross that when we need to," James added.
When asked if he considered whether Monday's game could be his last with the Lakers, James said, "I'm not going to answer that."
James has until June 29 to either opt into the final year of his contract with the Lakers for $51.4 million or become an unrestricted free agent.
JAMES ON RETIREMENT:
Retirement is not far off.
"It's still coming," James said. "It's not like, 'Oh s---, I'm playing so great this year, you know what? I might play and stick around for even more [time].' No. It's coming.
"It's cool. Because, to be honest, I don't see myself falling off anytime soon. But then like, what am I doing?"
No matter how the Lakers choose to address their problems this summer after their first-round flameout, James has a personal timeline all his own.
"I got a family," James said. "I got a 9-year-old daughter. I got a son that's in college, that's deciding if he's going to go to college or go pro. I got a son that's about to be a senior in high school. I've missed a lot of family time and they've allowed me to do that and never put no pressure on me. ...
"That s--- is important too. What more [is left]? I've done everything I can do. There's nothing I haven't accomplished in this league that I've wanted to accomplish. So like at some point you got to [hang it up]."
RUSSELL:
Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell also has a player option for next season worth $18.7 million.
Hell of a year by D'Angelo. Humbly saying that," Russell said. "Through the ups and downs, through all the whatever you want to call it, it never bothered me. I always kept myself sane. When I look at my phone, my family, my friends, my circle were texting me and telling me how proud they are of me. So, for me, that's all I need. I don't need anything else."

WHAT IF WARRIORS DRAFT BRONNY AHEAD OF LAKERS? (I WOULDNT I THINK HIS CEILING IS GPII)
|
| | | | | | But what if the Warriors draft Bronny James at 52, three picks ahead of the Lakers' 2nd-round pick? (That's presuming the Lakers don't draft him 17th. That pick could also go to NOP.) I think there could/will be some pre-draft maneuvering around there. | | 4/30/24, 8:26 AM |

JAMAL ADAMS 49ERS WEAK SIDE LB???
|
| | | | | | As @bcondotta said, the Seahawks have still not closed the door on a potential reunion with Jamal Adams. They plan to discuss the possibility internally now that the draft is over. I don't get the sense it's likely, but if they do bring Adams back, it would be to play weakside LB | | 4/29/24, 7:55 PM |

MORE: WISENHUNT, BIRDSONG,
Mason Black, RHP
It’s not just Black’s shiny ERA that’s impressive, but he’s doing it in ways that aren’t typically done in the Pacific Coast League. He’s allowed one homer, and it came in Reno, which means it should technically count as a half-homer. He’s walked five of 87 batters, even though the PCL is using robot umps with a tight strike zone. The average BB/9 for the league is 4.7; Black’s BB/9 is a cool 2.0.
It’s a matter of when, not if. If Black had pitched like this in the spring, it’s possible that he would’ve made the Opening Day roster instead of Landen Roupp, and you know the Giants will need innings sooner than later.
Takeaway: He’ll be up soon, and he might not go back down.
Even with Blake Snell on the IL, this is trickier than it should be. Black needs to be added to the 40-man roster, and while there are players on there who aren’t exactly in the Giants’ long-term plans, the front office doesn’t want to jettison a player for no good reason. Still, if they get tired of using Sean Hjelleand Mitch White as tandem starters in Snell’s place, expect Black to be the next one up.
