SUPER BOWL --UGLIEST SUPER BOWL EVER
Julian Edelman will win the MVP, but there is absolutely no way the the MVP should be an offensive player from a 10-3 game. The Rams averaged 32.9 points in the regular season and 28 ppg in the playoffs.

None of it made sense.
And so, we’re still left to wonder about #SBLIII’s biggest mystery: What happened to Todd Gurley? #LARamssports.yahoo.com/super-bowl-lii… |

#Patriots 2018: Lost LT Nate Solder, CB Malcolm Butler, WR Danny Amendola and RB Dion Lewis in free agency. Traded away Brandin Cooks. Lost first-round pick Isaiah Wynn to torn Achilles. Edelman was suspended. Josh Gordon got suspended indefinitely.

First nine Super Bowls, three teams won while scoring 16 or less. In 43 Super Bowls since, no team has won a Super Bowl while scoring 16 or less. Patriots up 10-3 on Rams with five minutes to play tonight. Fewest points by a Super Bowl winner: Dolphins had 14 in 1973.

-HIGHEST SCORING SEASON, LOWEST SCORING SUPER BOWL
STEVE YOUNG: "JARED GOFF WASN'T PRESENT"
-WHY CAN'T ANYONE COVER EDELMAN? 10 CATCHES --DOMINATED 3RD DOWN
-BELICHICK TOOK AWAY RUN, GILMORE TOOK AWAY COOKS
-GOFF WAS NEVER HIMSELF -- TOO BIG, BUT THE GAME PLAN WAS LONG DROPS-- DIDN'T ADJUST.
-GOFF WAITED TOO -LONG ON THE TD THROW WAS WIDE OPEN ---HAD TO WAIT ---WOULD HAVE BEEN 10-10
GOFF TO COOKS 20+ YARDS DOWN FIELD 0-4
-GURLEY WASN'T HIMSLE F
-BRADY ONE GOOD THROW TO GRONK --HE WASN'T GOOD
-1ST QTR : RAMS GOTTCHES PICK, MISSED FG ---DIDN'T GET ANYTHING.
-RAMS OVER THOUGHT IT -- NEEDED SHORTER PASSING GAME
-BRADY 6-3
---RAMS -- WHY DIDN'T THEY GO TO NO HUDDLE OUT OF LOCKER ROOM IN 3RD QTR ???
-KUPP AND GURLEY LOSSES HURT RAMS
-RAMS 26 OF 60 PLAYS WENT FOR 0 OR NEGATIVE YARDS
-COOKS HAD A TD AND DROPPED A TD
MCVEY: AND I AGREE--NOT EXACTLY BOY WONDER
Sean McVay: “I’m almost numb...they did great job but it was mostly a result of me doing a poor job calling plays and not giving us a chance to win. I don’t know how you ever get over this." #SuperBowl

- ared Goff did not have a completion more than 20 yards past the line of scrimmage.
- Stunts were key for the Patriots. They used them on 18 of 42 Ram passing plays. New England pressured Goff on nine of the 18 stunts.
- Blitzes were key for the Patriots too. Sending extra rushes on 48 percent of the L.A. pass plays, it was the Pats’ third-heaviest blitzing game out of 19 this year. Clearly, they thought Goff would be bothered by them, and he was.
- Goff didn’t handle the pressure this week as well as he did in the NFC title game. Goff versus pressure in the NFC title game: 9.1 yards per attempt. Goff versus pressure in the Super Bowl: 3.6 yards per attempt.

JUST IN: There's controversy over the Gladys Knight national anthem.
One sportsbook graded the OVER as a win and then took it back.
Apparently, she might have said "BRAVE" twice.
First brave would have made it the UNDER. End of second brave would have made it the OVER.

Sources: The #Raiders and #Giants are talking about the Raiders playing in the Giants ballpark next season. But the #49ers, who own territorial rights for San Francisco, and #NFL must to sign off. And that is anything but a done deal.

GRONK:
Rob Gronkowski won his third Super Bowl with the New England Patriots on Sunday, a tepid 13-3 victory over the Rams, and after the game he wouldn’t commit one way or another on his future in the NFL.
In an interview on the NFL Network, Gronkowski said that he hadn’t made up his mind yet on his future, and would decide in a “week or two.” He stressed that tonight he would be focused on celebrating the win with his teammates, and didn’t want to take away from that celebration with any news about his future.
49ERS:

23. San Francisco 49ers
2018 record: 4-12
Reason for optimism: A healthy Jimmy Garoppolo. The Niners entered 2018 with a lot of buzz about a quick turnaround from the 6-10 record they posted in 2017, but most of that optimism vanished when Garoppolo tore an ACL in Week 3. Better health for the whole roster would be a welcome change, but having a full season of Garoppolo should at least offer the Niners a chance to know what they truly have at quarterback and put them in better position to get to .500 or better in 2019. -- Nick Wagoner
RAIDERS TO ORACLE OR NOT??
- he #49ers would have to waive their territorial rights for the Raiders to play next season in San Francisco. Sources tell me the 49ers have not signed off on this. Also, the NFL would have to approve the move, and that has not occurred, either, according to the sources.
