OFFENSE
- San Francisco 49ers right guard Joshua Garnett played 34 snaps in his first game action since the 2016 season. Garnett finished with a run blocking grade of 53.1 and a pass blocking grade of 58.9, allowing two hurries in 21 pass blocking snaps.
- Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo looked sharp in limited action. Garoppolo earned a 90.5 overall grade on the evening, and was a perfect 4-4, 83 yards, 1 TD when under pressure.
DEFENSE
- Defensive tackle D.J. Jones had a very strong showing, earning top grade on the team with an overall mark of 91.4. Jones was especially good against the run with two run stops and a forced fumble. Jones also added two QB hurries in nine pass rush snaps.
- Defensive tackle Sheldon Day shined for the second consecutive game. Day's 27.3% run stop percentage led all NFL interior linemen with 10+ run snaps in Week 2.
