5 BETS WHICH WOULD HAVE MADE YOU RICH IN 2016

28 THINGS WE TAKE FOR GRANTED

CLIPPERS-WARRIORS:

BETTING LINE:
Warriors by 4
MATCHUP TO WATCH:
Stephen Curry vs. Chris Paul. Several matchups deserve attention, but it begins with the two fabulous point guards. Paul’s task is to slow Curry, and he occasionally does. Curry simply wants to make sure Paul doesn’t impose his enough to supervise the action. The winner of this matchup tends to dictate the winner of these games.
LAST 10:
Warriors: 9-1. Clippers: 6-4.
INJURY REPORT:
Warriors: No injuries listed.
Clippers: F Brice Johnson (lower back herniated disc) is listed as out.
ROSTER NOTE:
Warriors C Damian Jones is on assignment with D-League Santa Cruz.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Warriors have won six in a row and seven of the last eight, and are 24-12 over the last nine seasons against the Clippers.
THREE THINGS TO WATCH:
Tests for the best. The Warriors lead the NBA in scoring and overall offensive rating, while the Clippers are tops in overall defensive rating. Conventional wisdom is that good offense beats good defense. It’s certain that each team’s “1” is under the gun.
LA loves charity: No team in the NBA shoots more free throws than the Clippers. The Warriors won’t mind sending DeAndre Jordan to the charity stripe, maybe even intentionally, but they want to avoid fouls that give Jordan’s teammates easy money.
From the jump. While the Warriors are downplaying the significance of the game, the Clippers are not. So LA definitely will make an effort to make a statement in the opening minutes. Will they? And what happens if they don’t? The Warriors will be on alert.

ARE THE CLIPPERS A FINALS THREAT? SPURS, CAVS ARE ---ARE CLIPPERS?

KAP BACK AS THE STARTER - WHERE WOULD YOU GO?

WHEERE COULD KAP GO?:

Where could Colin go: (Not making $14.9M anywhere else)

Jags: Jacksonville still will gives Borltes time.
Texans: Osweiller gets another year
Jets: Fitzpatrick, drafted Hackenberg in 2nd round, Geno Smith , Bryce Petty - Is Kap better than those guys?
Bears: Cutler gone, will draft in top 5
Browns - LIkely drafting #1
49ers: Likely drafting top 3

Back ups:
Cardinals: Back up Palmer, can't run Arians downfield throwing offense
Bills; Taylor?
Dolphins: Tannehill
Chiefs: Alex Smith
Ravens - Flacco, Harbaugh connection

Sets: pats, saints, raiders, Falcons, Pack, Cowboys, Seahawks, Lions, Steelers, Redskins, Chargers, Giants, Panthers, Ravens, Titans, Chiefs, Cardinals, Vikings, Bengals, Colts, Bucs, Bills, Eagles, Broncos,

Best places to start: Where would you go?

-Bears
-Browns
-49ers

But all three liekly to draft young QBs

Jags
Texans

Waiting one more year for those QBs to fall on their face again

Jets - None of those QBs can play
Dolphins - Tannehill not secure long term

Back up:
Cards - Good weapons, Palmer older
Chiefs - Run and play defense
Bills: Taylor is like Kap, good RB, defense

FLORIO: "GROWING BELIEF" BAALKE IS DONE - HOW CAN HE NOT BE?

The 49ers currently have lost 10 games in a row, and there’s a growing belief that G.M. Trent Baalke won’t be back. Would ownership also move on from coach Chip Kelly, or would the team set up an inherently awkward and dysfunctional arrangement in which a G.M. is hired but is prevented at least for a year from hiring his own coach?
If Baalke goes, the best approach could be to elevate assistant G.M. Tom Gamble and let Kelly and Gamble run the show. If that happens, Kelly may want to keep Kaepernick around.
The other question is whether any other team, owner, G.M., or coach will shy away from Kaepernick given his refusal to stand for the national anthem. Regardless of whether it shold be a factor (it shouldn’t), the reality is that any team considering the addition of a veteran quarterback (and there likely will be plenty of them) will at least consider the impact of signing a signal-caller who may spark hundreds of angry callers to local sport-talk radio claiming that they will never attend or watch another game if Kaepernick becomes an employee of the team.

-WHHERE WOULD YOU GO IF YOU WERE KAP?

RAIDERS: HOW GOOD?
