Overall it was just the third time this year a Giants starter
other than Webb has recorded an out in the 7th inning...
besides Harrison's two instances, tonight's starter RHP
Jordan Hicks has the other one (7.0ip in the home opener
on April 5 vs. San Diego).
Giants starters have thrown the third-fewest innings in the
Majors this year (325.0) behind only Milwaukee (312.2) and
Miami (318.1)

Webb (5-5) allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings Friday, striking out six and earning a win over the Rangers.
ANALYSIS
Webb kept Texas off the board for four frames before the Rangers plated two runs in the fifth inning. Outside of that inning, he allowed just one baserunner. Webb threw seven innings in his last outing but saw his streak of four straight quality starts come to an end. With Friday's quality start in the books, he has 10 in his 14 appearances this season. Webb will carry a 2.92 ERA into his next star

Valdez (5-3) tossed a complete game to earn the win Friday over the Angels, allowing one run on four hits and a walk while striking out eight over nine innings.
ANALYSISThe Astros' bullpen was fairly fresh, but Valdez took care of business himself in his seventh career complete game. The lone mistake on his line was a
Kevin Pillar solo home run in the second inning. Valdez has quality starts in four of his last five outings, and his strong performance Friday lowered his ERA to 3.53 with a 1.15 WHIP and 50:18 K:BB over 63.2 innings through 10 starts this season.
