-Could Kap start, yes -- But is it realistic No.

*What he would have to do ---Run offense percsely, get team in corrct setting on the run, be accuarate, no sacks or INTs, be productive and a major part of scoring drives. Has he done that in the last two seasons?

*Didn't throw all off season

KAP CAN'T WEAR VISOR FOR NOW-

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will not be allowed to wear a tinted visor in the 49ers’ preseason game Friday without league approval, the NFL said.
“A player needs approval to wear it in any game, including the preseason,” an NFL spokesman told CSNBayArea.com on Thursday. “He can wear it in practice without approval. But in a game, it needs to be approved.”
It is not known if a ruling will occur before Friday's game.
Kaepernick has worn a tinted visor as part of his helmet during the entire offseason program and training camp. On Wednesday, Kaepernick said he planned the wear the visor when he is scheduled to make his preseason debut against the Green Bay Packers.

VEGAS RAIDERS:

The Raiders are exploring a potential move to Las Vegas, and reportedly took another step this week.
The team on August 20, 2016 reportedly filed trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the "Las Vegas Raiders," according to Darren Heitner of Forbes.
The Raiders will play their home games in Oakland at the Coliseum in 2016. A trademark application does not guarantee a future move, either.

BOSA'S REPS FIRE BACK - BTW --NICDE WAY TO GET VOTERS TO APPROVE A STADIUM=-

In a statement released Wednesday night, Bosa's representatives said the Chargers "have decided to manipulate facts and negotiate in the media."
"We will say that it is ironic that the team now takes issue with the timing of Joey's arrival, since the Chargers unilaterally decided to remain silent for the first 14 days of training camp, instead of replying in a timely fashion to the proposal we made on the eve of training camp on July 28th," the statement said. "At this point, all we can do is continue to fight for a fair contract on behalf of our client, as we do for all of our clients.
"The Chargers can focus on trying to sway public opinion, but our focus will remain on our client and securing a contract for him that is fair and consistent with his draft position."
According to a source familiar with the negotiation, the Chargers offered to pay Bosa 85 percent of his $17 million signing bonus at the time of signing and the rest in the new league calendar year in March. Bosa's camp remained steadfast in receiving the entire signing bonus by the end of this year

ESPN PROJECTS 67 WINS FOR WARRIORS:

Golden State Warriors
Projected wins: 66.8 (Summer Forecast: 67-15)
Within the context of the conservative nature of win projections, which tend to be regressed heavily to the mean, a 67-win projection is remarkable. The Warriors' projection is two wins higher than the next best in the seven years I've gone back to do projections using this method: 64.9 for the 2010-11 Miami Heat, who actually won just 58 games because of the time it took their version of the Big Three to build chemistry on the court.

HOPE SOLO BAN -- FREEDOM OF SPEECH? - BAD LOOK -- EVEN IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH WHAT SHE SAID - NOT LITTLE LEAGUE

U.S. Soccer has terminated goalkeeper Hope Solo's national team contract and banned her for six months after her controversial comments at the Olympics, the federation announced Wednesday.
U.S. women’s coach Jill Ellis and U.S. Soccer general secretary Dan Flynn met with Solo, 35, in Seattle on Wednesday afternoon and gave her the news, which comes with three months of severance pay. She'll be eligible for reinstatement and a new contract on February. The move follows Solo’s comments at the Olympics when she called the Swedish players “cowards” for their defensive style in eliminating the U.S. in the quarterfinals.
Solo, who received public criticism from teammate Megan Rapinoe and U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati for her comments, did not apologize for them.
“The comments by Hope Solo after the match against Sweden during the 2016 Olympics were unacceptable and do not meet the standard of conduct we require from our national team players,” Gulati said in a press release. “Beyond the athletic arena, and beyond the results, the Olympics celebrate and represent the ideals of fair play and respect. We expect all of our representatives to honor those principles, with no exceptions.”
Gulati continued: “Taking into consideration the past incidents involving Hope, as well as the private conversations we’ve had requiring her to conduct herself in a manner befitting a U.S. national team member, U.S. Soccer determined this is the appropriate disciplinary action.”
